So, we used to be a blog called the Well Armed Democrat.  But some circumstances have changed, people have mellowed, there is a very real threat of being punished at my day job for my totally reasonable political opinions, etc.  You know.  Typical stuff.

Anyway, as an alternative, we present The Foolhardy Farmer, wherein we detail our exploits as we buy a farm in Maine and attempt to make things grow.  Things like plants, animals, kids and family bonds.

We threw up a little in our mouths with that last bit.  Sorry.  We’ll try to keep it a little funnier than that.
